OVERCOMING LIMITING BELIEFS TO CHANGE HABITS: THE 3 STEPS AND THEIR BENEFITS

How many times have you wanted to make a change in your life, but you do not dare to take the first step? Have you felt frustrated when trying to make a change that you know you need and you notice that you are not making progress? Do you feel that sometimes excuses overcome the desire and the need to do things differently? Here we are not talking about laziness or lack of motivation, but about limiting beliefs, which, as their name suggests, are limiting your path to success and well-being.
Limiting beliefs are thoughts ingrained in your mind that prevent you from reaching your full potential and getting the results you want. These beliefs are often based on emotional conclusions that arose from past events and information you received as a child.
It is important to understand that beliefs are like "packets of information" that guide your actions and decisions unconsciously that cause you to act in accordance with that belief, leading you to miss opportunities and sabotage yourself, such as:
1. I don't deserve...
2. I can't...
3. I have no right to ....
4. I am not worthy of...
5. It is impossible to get...
6. I am incapable of...
7. It is difficult to do...
8. It's not right/It's not right....
9. It is very difficult to...
10. I am not enough...
The "undeserving" and "no power" beliefs greatly limit the power for you to manifest what you want in your life. The good news is that there are many types of techniques to change limiting beliefs in a quick, easy and definitive way. I invite you to do the following exercise that will lead you to get rid of what is blocking you, allowing you to plant empowering affirmations and to take conscious control of thinking and acting differently from what you are capable of doing.

STEP #1 Identify Your Limiting Beliefs:
Write down each belief on a piece of paper to get clarity on them. Write without limit, until you feel that you are emptying your ideas from your head. Then stick them in front of a mirror so that they cover your reflection.
STEP #2 Burn Your Limiting Beliefs:
Peel the papers off the mirror, and go out to a space where you can build a small fire. Light the campfire and begin to burn each belief as you read it out loud and get rid of them.
STEP #3 Attract Your Beliefs:
Now take new pieces of paper and start writing down all the beliefs that empower you, motivate you and generate satisfaction. For example, if you believed you were a person who has little willpower, change it to the belief that you can have self-control. Again, write without limit until you have exhausted the ideas in your head. Now, tape them around the mirror frame leaving your reflection uncovered.
Read your new beliefs with feeling and emotion several times a day for at least 21 days, visualize what your life would be like with those beliefs and look for examples to support them. Over time, these new beliefs will take root in your mind and propel you toward success. During this journey of exploration, I send you my best wishes for courage, strength, awareness and great perspective.
